Located in the Quebrada d'Humahuaca mountain valley, Tilcara Mistica Hostel is an affordable choice for travelers to Tilcara. The hostel is surrounded by tourist accommodation and is a 20-minute walk from the ruins of Pucará de Tilcara, an ancient hilltop town. Rooms and dormitories are basic but decorated in an ethnic style. Most rooms have a shared bathroom, but some have a private one. Breakfast is included in the room rate. The hostel also has a bar with terrace and a terrace with mountain views. Residents can take advantage of the communal kitchen, TV lounge and ping-pong table. Bikes and cars are available for hire. Wi-Fi is free throughout the establishment.

Auberge de jeunesse sympa à Tilcara
Bien située (5 min. à pied du centre) et pourvue d'un espace intérieur agréable (bar, barbecue, ...). Chambres un peu exigues mais en rapport avec le prix démocratique. Un peu bruyant les soirs de BBQ ... si on n'y participe pas. Eau potable disponible, frigos partagés, terrasse commune avec tables et chaise, bref une bonne ambiance routard.
PS: une agréable rando de 7 km peut être faite au départ de l'hôtel et le site du Pucara (fortification indienne) est proche également.
