CNIB CUEVA
Prehistoric site at an altitude of 3,500 m, featuring a cave whose walls are covered in black, white and red pictograms
At an altitude of 3,500 metres, this prehistoric site is one of the best known rock art sites in the region. Almost all the walls of this cave are covered with black, white and red pictograms, painted by men more than 10,000 years ago. They depict animals, figures and geometric shapes. In an excellent state of preservation, the drawings seem to date from the day before! In fact, there are about ten caves in this valley, all of which are distinguished by their traces of rock art.
