Perched high above the village, the hotel has a beautiful view. It also serves as a tourist office, so that the few travellers who enter the Iruya sanctuary can find their way around. In fact, the only tourist brochure about Iruya is published by thehostería. The rooms are pretty, spacious and bright (with heating). It's worth asking for a room with a view. It's a pleasant place to stay, especially if you're looking for peace and quiet. Behind thehostería, you can climb up to the mirador, but the village has more character when seen from below.
