MUSEO DEL FIN DEL MUNDO
The building houses a museum retracing the history of Tierra del Fuego's native civilizations, as well as a library with a wealth of books.
The building that houses the museum was built in 1903 on the initiative of Governor Don Manuel Fernandez Valdés. It traces the history of the native civilizations of Tierra del Fuego and of colonization and presents specimens of the Fuegian fauna. A library offers many books on the history, the tribes and the geography of Tierra del Fuego (that those interested in this subject do not hesitate to consult the curator, a specialist of these vanished ethnic groups). A Fin del Mundo stamp will be placed in your passport when you buy a ticket.
