INFORMATIONS TOURISTIQUES
Plaza Coronel Fontana is the central square of Trevelin, a charming little town in Patagonia's Chubut province. The square is surrounded by many trees and houses the Tourist Office, which is housed in a typical shack. An original feature of the square is the sculpture of a dragon, the emblem of the region, on the roof of the tourist office. Every day at 8:00 pm and 10:00 pm, the dragon shoots flames in an unmissable local spectacle. The recently renovated square is the heart of the village, with many shops and activities nearby. It's a place to meet, rest, picnic and enjoy activities for children. Plaza Coronel Fontana is a must-see on your visit to Trevelin.
