Numerous circuits requiring several hours' hiking, such as Cinco Saltos, Sendero Lago Krüger, Laguna Escondida...
There are many of them; some are more demanding, requiring several hours' walking. Leaflets are available from the park administration (maps can also be purchased).
From Villa Futalaufquén, a 50-minute trail explains the close relationship between indigenous peoples and the surrounding environment. Another trail explains the local flora (approx. 30 minutes).
From the Villa to Cerro El Dedal, a well-marked hike takes you to an altitude of 1,916 metres. Allow 6 hours for the round trip. The trail starts at Sendero de la Cascada (just behind the Visitor Center). At the summit, you can admire Lake Futulaufquen and the Rio Desaguadero valley.
Cinco Saltos, from Puerto Limonao, a 3-hour circuit leads to the Cinco Saltos (five beautiful waterfalls). The hike is easy and accessible.
Sendero Lago Krüger, which follows the southern shore of Lago Futalaufquen to a smaller lake of the same name. The hike begins in Puerto Limonao and stretches for 25 kilometers. You can spend the night in Playa Blanca.
Sendero de las Pinturas Rupestres, an easy 500-metre trail that takes you past vast panoramas and traces of pre-Columbian rock art.
Laguna Escondida, start your ascent at the foot of the Arrayanes River and climb to the summit.
Sendero al Cerro Alto el Petiso, start your hike at Mermoud, located in Lago Verde. After passing through a forest, the route is not strewn with pitfalls, but with small rocks to climb and avoid.
