Imagine a bistro-café in the heart of a small village, offering a number of local services, such as a bread delivery service, a parcel relay or a small grocery store. As meeting places in rural areas, these establishments, a vital part of local life, can reinforce their image thanks to the label of the Fédération nationale des bistrots de pays. Of course, certain criteria have to be met, not least that local products are showcased through an elaborate menu or small snacks! In the Puy-de-Dôme region, around ten establishments have been awarded the label.
