Simple but surprising dishes in a restaurant in the city centre.

A visit to the Pavillon Lecoq is a more than pleasant moment. Just a stone's throw from the universities, in spring as in summer, the terrace overlooking the fountains of the great basin, lives to the rhythm of families, groups of friends and lovers who have come for a crêpe or a coffee. The menu is simple and has some good surprises in store, with some rather original proposals: filet of plaice, oil, ginger, sesame, olive and onion crumble, rack of Batallé pig confit with honey, ginger and lemongrass... The place is ideal to relax in absolute calm.

Content d’apprendre que la serveuse est « seule » . Nous l’avons appris quand on lui a demandé d’être servie après 15 minutes d’attente. Mais également grâce à ses interventions a chaque table ou elle passe son temps à l’indiquer et se plaindre. Aucune organisation, on sent qu’on la dérange et en plus elle ne retient pas ce qu’elle dit aux clients. Dommage quand en plus ce n’est pas le rush. Dommage surtout quand il fait 30 degré à l ombre et qu’une petite de 2 ans et demi nous accompagne pour une glace. A la limite de faire un scandale qui aurait été mérité . Mérite car c’est la deuxième fois et à chaque fois avec cette serveuse. Bref si Madame vous ne n’aimez pas ce boulot personne ne vous retient et surtout pas nous, clients potentiels !!
