LA BRASSERIE DU THÉÂTRE
Restaurant located just in front of the Opera-Theatre's artists' entrance offering homemade cuisine.
The address couldn't be more aptly named: it's located just opposite the stage door of the Opéra-Théâtre. Cyril and Angeline Sartre created this address as well as La Régalade, which has been next door for a dozen years. The homemade cuisine, ambience and decor of red armchairs and black-and-white photos of great artists are pleasing. The lunch menu is efficient. Starters include artichoke heart salad and honey-roasted camembert. A la carte: fish cassolette, flambéed prawns, pan-fried beef onglet, low-temperature lamb mouse. Desserts are just as appetizing. When the weather's fine, take advantage of the terrace.
