With more than 160,000 admissions, short films, some of which are in competition, are screened throughout Clermont-Ferrand.
The "Court" is the second film festival in France after Cannes. Created in 1982 by the collective "Sauve qui peut le court métrage", it is the biggest festival in the world dedicated to this format and makes the heart of Clermont-Ferrand beat every year. Hundreds of works are selected among thousands, signed by filmmakers from all over the world. The numerous sessions are organized by theme and country. There are also conferences, a film market and festive evenings.
