ASM OMNISPORT
Rugby, soccer and cross-country: these are the three disciplines at the origin of the Michelin Sports Association (which later became AS Montferrand), which was intended for its employees. These three letters, founded by Marcel Michelin a little more than a century ago, have now been joined by omnisports. Because the wish of the man who bequeathed his name to the stadium was to offer access to sport to "all", at all ages and for as long as possible. Today, fifteen sports sections exist and bring together more than 5,000 members. In addition to rugby, soccer and athletics, there is judo, handisport, wrestling, multisports, tennis, kendo, boxing, gymnastics, swimming, basketball, physical education and weightlifting.
