SECOURS CATHOLIQUE

Secours Catholique was founded more than 70 years ago on a national level. It provides material and food aid to the underprivileged. It helps low-income families go on vacation and provides emergency support. Numerous activities are organized. It is also a place for listening, and takes part in campaigns aimed at bringing people together, beyond their ethnic and religious affiliations. Secours Catholique is mainly run by volunteers. There are almost 850 volunteers in the Cantal/Puy-de-Dôme region, which is not necessarily enough to ensure the various activities on offer. The organization is always on the lookout for volunteers.
