REFORMED CHURCH OF THE RESURRECTION
The Protestant church is an unusual sight in Clermont-Ferrand, with its first-floor nave covered by a concrete spire.
Here is one of the unusual places in Clermont! When the previous temple was destroyed, the Protestant church entrusted the construction of a new place of worship to Jean Marconnet. Le Corbusier himself was interested in the project. Inaugurated in 1966, the building was delayed several times, but the result is most curious. A concrete needle rises towards the sky, symbolizing hands in prayer or the meeting tent. The nave is on the first floor, the basement is dedicated to associations.
