HOTEL DE GRANDSEIGNE
A private mansion reflecting the nobility's taste for art and aesthetics, with a sublime state bedroom.
The Martial de Grandseigne town house is a rare testimony to the taste of 17th-century nobility in terms of art and aesthetics. The building has been protected as a historic monument since 1986. It features a sublimely decorated ceremonial room, with carved wood panelling and eight painted canvases. They are the work of Cantal painter François Lombard, who painted them in the 1660s.
