Museum of natural sciences in Clermont-Ferrand, the natural wealth and great figures of the Auvergne are honored there.

Upon his death, Henri Lecoq bequeathed his collection to the city of Clermont-Ferrand. The city bought the mansion where the scientist lived while holding the chair of natural sciences and installed a museum in the building in 1873. Natural sciences are honored there: geology, botany, zoology, mineralogy, paleontology... The museum focuses mainly on the Auvergne, its natural resources and its great figures such as Blaise Pascal. Temporary exhibitions, guided tours, game trails, conferences and workshops animate the museum.

Belle.

Super !
