It is to wonder if the nougat would not be born in Auvergne. Paul Lopez, grandson of a pastry chef, has used his creativity and talent to offer an exceptional nougat, made with good products: lavender honey, almonds from Provence, pistachios from Sicily... The nougats are tender and tasty. Some of them won an Epicure d'or in 2016 and 2018. The latest, L'Harmonie, mixes matcha, goji berries and puffed buckwheat. This young Clermont-Ferrand native is developing other gourmet recipes like old-fashioned macaroons (Epicure d'argent 2017).

J'ai été déçu de la qualité du nougat au gingembre poire acheté à la boutique de Clermont Ferrand le 15 décembre 2020. Un peu trop cher pour ce que c'était. Est-ce une erreur ? Ça peut arriver. Sincèrement, la texture était très "collante". J'avais du mal a détacher la lame du couteau à la pâte, donc beaucoup de mal à le découper et dans la bouche toujours aussi collant, vraiment désagréable. Est-ce un raté ? Très dommage pour un prix si élevé. Je n'y retournerai pas.

c'est cool je suis la première à donner mon avis je raffole du nougats part dessus tout , venant à Clermont et ayant trouvé une dresse digne de ce nom dans mon guide et sur internet , comme nous allions à Clermont pour le week-end de pâques avec mon neveu j'y ai passé la porte c'est juste parfait c'est quand même le 2 ème meilleur nougat mangé dans ma vie ce qui n'est pas peu dire alors merci Monsieur Lopez et continuer à nous régaler et même si c'est un peu cher la qualitée à un prix
