Since 2006, domestic and international flights have been concentrated at Suvarnabhumi, 35 km east of the city center, in the Samut Prakarn region. Designed by the American Helmut Jahn, the architecture of this gigantic complex is resolutely futuristic: spacious and bright infrastructures, expressing resolutely modern technology. Un aéroport moderne et propre avec tout le confort, beaucoup d'hôtel propose un service de taxi, c'est pratique après un long trajet depuis la france !

Un très grand aéroport mais on s'y repère à peu près facilement en prêtant attention à toutes les informations. Personnel de l'aéroport peu agréable et peu souriant, dommage pour les premières rencontres à l'arrivée dans le pays.

Suvarnabhumi : restaurant Foodworld
Aéroport de Bangkok Suvarnabhumi. Il y a de nombreux moyen de s'y alimenter. Beaucoup de restaurants typiques, des fastfood et même un "Food Center" immense au sous sol, comme dans la plupart des villes et centre commerciaux de Thaïlande.
Récemment est apparu un lieu original, situé à droite en sortant de l'aéroport. Conçu comme un Food Center à la Thaïlandaise mais à taille humaine, Foodworld est un restaurant avec prix Thaïlandais, très propre avec un choix important de plats typiques et des employés à l'écoute des clients . On a d'ailleurs plus l'impression d'être des invités que des clients. Il n'y a pas encore foule, mais ça ne serait tardé.

Immense aéroport moderne et propre. Desservi par la ligne de train Skyline : 20 à 30 minutes du centre ville en fonction de la station pour une quarantaine de baths. Beaucoup de monde ce qui génère de l'attente au passage à l'immigration.
