The city's subway railway has just 4 lines. The Blue Line runs in a wide half-loop from Hua Lampong to Bang Sue Station (Krung Thep Aphiwat). It serves 38 stations, including Chinatown, Silom, Sukhumvit and Chatuchak. It operates from 6 a.m. to midnight every day, every 5 minutes at peak times and approximately every 10 minutes the rest of the time. The Purple Line has 16 stations. The Yellow Line and Pink Line were inaugurated in 2023. Connections with the BTS are possible at certain stations.
