Historic hotel with old-world charm and a superb Art Deco lobby, swimming pool and vegetarian Thai restaurant in Bangkok.
This historic establishment opened in 1952 is not a palace but continues to live up to its reputation. The superb Art Deco lobby and its 1950s decoration exude a pleasant old-fashioned charm. The hotel is undergoing a major renovation during 2021: the rooms are modernized and more comfortable than before. There is a small garden behind with a good sized swimming pool. Very good reception. Vegetarian restaurant on site.
