The market of all superlatives. The Department of Commerce estimates that 200,000 people visit Chatuchak every weekend. More than 9,000 shops, stands, stalls, gargotes are gathered there. You can find everything from clothes to furniture, art objects, antiques, plants, flowers... and even animals! Prices are quite low. Impossible not to find happiness and a souvenir to take home. A must in Bangkok.

Un immense marché dans lequel on trouve à peu près tout ce qu'on veut. Des vêtements, de la nourriture, souvenirs, décorations, bijoux, artisanat, boutique de créateur thaïlandais... Un véritable labyrinthe, une journée entière est nécessaire si l'on veut parcourir le marché dans son intégralité. Accès très facile et rapide avec le skytrain.

Le plus grand marché au monde !
Le Chatuchak Market est considéré comme "le" plus grand marché au monde ?!? Personnellement, c'est le plus gigantesque que j'ai pu voir sur tous les continents. Il s'étale sur plusieurs quartiers, envahissant des dizaines d'immeubles complets sur 3 ou 4 étages ! On y trouve de tout : des vêtements, des animaux, de la nourriture et même d'authentiques antiquités thaïlandaises !
En faire le tour prendrai plusieurs jours… Restez donc sélectif quant à l'orientation de vos achats potentiels !

Ce marché est à faire pour son originalité et son labyrinthe de stands. Se munir d'un plan avant d'y aller pour éviter de se perdre et réussir à trouver la sortie. C'est impressionnant de produits divers proposés.
