These tourist boats run on the Chao Phraya from Sathorn pier (Central Pier) to Phra Athit pier, making 9 stops along the way. These boats for tourists are more modern and comfortable (toilets, WiFi) than the express boats dedicated to transport. A small map of the route with the main monuments is offered and the cruise is commented (in Thai and English). A one-day pass allows you to take the boat as many times as you want, so you can stop wherever you want.

J ai trouvé cette façon de se déplacer d'un site à l'autre vraiment facile et très bon marché. En sortant du sky train à l'arrêt "Sathorn Taksin"on se retrouve direct sur les quai (central pier) de là on prend le bateau Chao phraya tourist boat. Les guichets sont juste devant. ensuite vous montez et descendez aux sites que vous désirez..Wat Arun, Wat pho, grand palais china town etc plus rapide que le Taxi et surtout vraiment typique de Bangkok!

Le bateau pour les touristes est agréable mais outre qu'il est plus cher, on omet de vous dire que le pass de 150 TBH est valable toute la journée et je n'ai reçu aucune brochure. Etais-je bien dans le bateau pour touristes, d'ailleurs, car j'ai voyagé en long tail boat ?
La ligne régulière à drapeau orange est moins coûteuse, offre davantage d'arrêts et permet de voyager avec les habitants.
I like many surf the river Chao Phraya in Bangkok, but I prefer to do it with the regular public boats (orange flag), including one that is thai boat and not with tourists, more it is faster and frequent.
