A center offering shows on how to catch a cobra and make it spit its venom into a container...
Created in 1923, this center develops antidotes to snake venom. Open to the public, the idea is to educate Thais about the dangers of snakes and how to react in the event of a bite. Shows demonstrate how to catch a cobra with bare hands and make it spit its venom into the appropriate container. There are some 160 species of snake, including 46 with deadly venom. You can also see king cobras over 4 m long. Sensitive souls, beware.
