KAMTHIENG HOUSE MUSEUM
A teak house with 5 exhibition rooms featuring information on Lanna singing and music traditions.
This 160 year old Lanna-style teak house on stilts was built on the banks of the Ping River in Chiang Mai Province. Its particularity is that it was built without using a single nail. It was sold to the Siam Society and transferred to Bangkok. It has 5 exhibition rooms presenting objects and information on Lanna singing and music traditions and the northern way of life, as well as video presentations. Very beautiful residence for lovers of traditional Thai architecture.
