CHATUCHAK PARK
This old park, famous for its artificial lake and small bridges, is idyllic for picnics, jogging or cycling.
Chatuchak Park, inaugurated in December 1980, is one of Bangkok's oldest parks. It was later joined by Queen Sirikit Park and Wachirabenchatat Park, although they are separated from Chatuchak Park by Kampaeng Phet Street. The park is long and has an artificial lake, with several small bridges leading to each shore. It's the ideal place for a picnic, jogging or cycling. There's also a small train museum on site. Very popular at weekends, not least because of its proximity to the Chatuchak market.
