About a 15-minute walk from the Bang Phai MRT station, this place used to be home to street vendors on their boats, hence the name. Today, it is no longer strictly speaking a floating market, but various craft stores, restaurants and artists have taken up residence in the old wooden buildings overlooking the khlong. It's a pleasant, bucolic visit, far from the crowds of Bangkok. Several companies offer boat trips.
