Talat Noi or Talad Noi means "little market". It's a charming historic district on the outskirts of Chinatown, on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, inhabited by one of the country's oldest Chinese communities. It's a delight to stroll through the maze of narrow streets whose walls are adorned with colorful street art. There are many shops, cafés, small restaurants, artisans and colorful Chinese temples, including the Zhou Si Kong Shrine, one of the city's oldest Hokkien temples.
