Next to Wat Ratchaburana, this restored temple is equally worthy of interest. A very important spiritual centre, its creation dates back to Boromaraja I (1370-1388). There was once a royal monastery. In 1956, many gold cult objects were discovered in its foundations. There are still some prang and chedi, including one with a statue of Buddha leaning against it, and many amputated Buddha statues, walls and some columns. The great curiosity of the place is a Buddha's head embedded in the roots of a banyan tree.

Magnifique, comme tous les parcs aux alentours. J'ai beaucoup ailmé l'ambiance qui règne dans les lieux. Quant à la tête dans l'arbre, c'est aussi joli que surprenant.

Magnifique site à Ayutthaya. La tete de boudha dans les racines d'un arbre est LA photo à faire que l'on retrouve partout. A faire absolumment si vous allez à Ayutthaya.

Très beau temple avec sa tête de boudda coincé dans les arbres qui est hyper connue. Je vous recommande d'y aller tôt sinon il vous sera très compliqué de faire une photo de cette fameuse sculpture.
