SAN PHRA KAN
A temple of modern architecture renowned for its gilded statue of the Hindu god Vishnu, its partially dislocated walls..
A temple of modern architecture built on a Khmer base, the centrepiece of which is a golden statue of the Hindu god Vishnu. The partially dislocated walls, gnawed away by vegetation and worn down by the bad weather, have this mysterious air of a resurrected lost city. Be careful though, here the monkeys are the masters of the place and they can be very aggressive if you let them take the lead. Above all, avoid going with children: the sight of these dear little ones sometimes makes them angry, and their bites can be serious.
