The Tharaburi Resort is an invitation to travel and serenity. With its themed rooms, all superbly furnished and appointed, it's clearly upmarket. Dormitory beds are available, with a chic rather than backpacker feel. The restaurant serves quality Thai and international cuisine, albeit at overpriced prices. On-site bar and spa. The swimming pool, while very pretty, could do with a little more space. Cooking classes and guided tours are also available. Bicycle rental.
