WAT RATCHABURANA
A small temple built during the Sukhothai period, housing a lovely Buddha statue and a very old chedi...
This small temple is much less visited than its famous neighbor, but no less worth a visit. It is said to have been built during the Sukhothai period. The wooden temple houses a beautiful Buddha statue and exquisite murals. Inside the complex is a very ancient chedi, which is illuminated with a thousand lights at dusk. The monks on site are available to talk with you if you wish. Opposite the temple, on the other side of the Nan River, is the Royal Pagoda.
