WAT LOK MOLI
A hand-carved wooden temple, where you can see various statues such as Ganesh and Chinese-influenced statues.
Located just opposite the old town and Wat Rajamontean and its large Buddha, Wat Lok Moli is one of the last hand-carved wooden temples in the city, with an impressive 14th century chedi in its complex. It's best to visit around 6pm when all the monks are chanting their prayers... The entrance is guarded by two elephants and you can see various statues, including one of Ganesh and statues of Chinese influence... Just on the right of the temple, a sanctuary is also dedicated to the Hindu god with the head of an elephant.
