Chiang Mai's National Museum houses Buddha statues of various styles, which have left their mark on Thailand's history.
The Chiang Mai National Museum, not far from Wat Ched Yot, can be visited in conjunction with this temple. It boasts a large number of Buddha statues in various styles, all of which have left their mark on Thai history. The large bronze statue is the most imposing. There are also relics and sacred objects on display. Upstairs are the collections of tools, woodcuts, photographs and examples of textiles on display.

Interesting museum which allows you to apprehend the history of the region and customs. A little thrown offcentre, it is necessary to get there without doubt by taxi
This museum very large but is not quite well made. It tells the story of the region and its different periods. It is not an essential visit in Chiang Mai but it is worth a visit if you have the time.
