VONGBURI HOUSE MUSEUM
A charming house in Phrae, with a style reminiscent of the colonial era, offering photo exhibitions.
A century-old house in pink and white, but with a style more reminiscent of the colonial era (which did not take place in Thailand). The main building and outbuildings were built in wood under the supervision of a Chinese architect. The layout is impeccable, and a little music accompanies the visit. The complex, restored in 1994-1995, exudes an old-fashioned charm set in a beautiful garden. Some of the photos on display bear witness to the logging industry of the last century, when elephants were put to a severe work.
