This creation by artist Thawan Duchanee is a house, studio and museum in one. The complex comprises some forty different structures, blending traditional North Thai architecture with modern ones. Teak, buffalo horns, animal skins, whale-shaped buildings, massive tables... A heterogeneous and original ensemble where tradition and modernity collide. The Black House is one of the city's must-see attractions.
