Cave in a park in Mae Sai, where the young footballers and their coach were trapped, visit and walk around a lake.
This park is home to Tham Luang, the famous cave where, in 2018, 12 young footballers and their coach were trapped for 18 days. The event made headlines in the media, and it took multiple attempts to extract them from the cave. A small museum pays tribute to the rescuers and the children, and tells their story. You can visit the cave entrance. The guided tour ends with a stroll around a pretty lake, Khunnam Nangnon.
