CHIANG SAEN NATIONAL MUSEUM
A regional museum exhibiting Buddha statues and the handicraft and farming tools used by ancestral tribes.
This interesting regional museum exhibits, of course, the inevitable Buddha statues, but also the handicraft and agricultural tools used by the ancestral tribes, including musical instruments, traditional costumes and some archaeological pieces unearthed by archaeological excavations in the vicinity and dating back as far as 13,000 years, for the oldest. In addition to the permanent collection, a painting gallery occupies a wing of the museum.
