An astonishing temple 60 km from Korat, dedicated to the monk Luang Pho Khun Parisutto and featuring statues from the Hindu pantheon.
The temple is about 60 km from Korat, 11 km from the village of Dan Khun Thot. Ban Rai is one of the most astonishing temples you'll see in Thailand. Dedicated to the revered monk Luang Pho Khun Parisutto, it resembles a giant merry-go-round topped by an enormous elephant's head. All around the Hindu pantheon, colorful statues, dragons that seem to guard the site, and a museum inside. Spectacular!

Temple très original situé à 1 petite heure de la ville. Tendance hindouiste au niveau de la décoration et des couleurs. Ne ressemble pas aux temples bouddhistes traditionnels de thailande.
