A national park in Rayong, home to beautiful waterfalls, caves, wild elephants and the famous tor soro carp.
National park since 1975, with beautiful waterfalls (the highest: Chamao) and some sixty caves. You can take a two-day excursion into the jungle to see wild elephants and many other animals roaming freely, including the famous carp tor soro. Local folklore has it that the mountain's strange name - chamao means "to be drunk" - comes from the intoxicating sensation derived from eating this carp!
