Ao Sai Kaew is a large and beautiful beach, very popular with tourists, located on the eastern side of the island of Koh Samet.
Ao Sai Kaew (or Ao Sai Khao), in the east of the island, is the largest and one of the most beautiful beaches, at least that was probably the case before this resurgence of hotel infrastructure. It is indeed very accessible, and many tourists don't look any further.
Ao Phai, on the east coast of the island, is a large and beautiful beach where only the presence of too many bungalows tightly packed together spoils the landscape a little.
Hin Khok beach is located south of Ao Phai. It's not very long, but it's very pleasant. Several bar-restaurants provide entertainment in the evenings.
Ao Nuan is a charming place: it is a very small beach surrounded by rocks. The place is indeed very isolated and therefore very quiet. For those who are really looking for rest.
Ao Wong Duan is a large beach with a number of adjoining bar-restaurants. The south of the beach is quieter and has kept its charm.
Ao Wai is a shady beach stretched out in length. The place, rather isolated, is still not very busy during the week.
Ao Kiu Na Nok is a beautiful beach of fine sand framed by rocky tongues that are difficult to cross and guarantee the discretion of the place.
Ao Prao is located west of Koh Samet. It is in fact the only developed beach on the island that faces the setting sun. Luxury resorts have set up there and direct speedboat transfers from Ban Phe are of course possible.
