This restaurant, located close to the Kasemsarn Hotel, is an institution for locals. It has been serving traditional local dishes, hard to find elsewhere, for over 60 years. The cuisine, mainly from the east of the country, is good and the prices quite reasonable. Specialties include coconut crab and shrimp. The more courageous can try the Massaman curry with chicken and durian! Desserts on crushed ice are very refreshing. It's a pity the setting isn't up to Old City standards.
