PHRA RATCHANIWET MARUEKHATHAIYAWAN
A seaside residence of King Rama VI, built in teak and housing a fine collection of period photos of the royal family.
Also called Mrigadayavan Palace, it was the seaside residence of King Rama VI, who ruled the Kingdom of Siam from 1910 to 1925. This palace built entirely in teak, and perfectly restored and maintained nowadays, deserves a visit. Nice collection of period photos of the royal family. The furniture and the rooms are very attractive. Sometimes the palace is closed when there are few visitors: please call beforehand.
