A hill north of Prachuap's main beach, overlooking the surrounding area, home to the Thammikaram temple.

Located to the north of Prachuap's main beach, this hill dominates the surrounding area, and the panoramic view over the bay - but also over the border with Myanmar just ten kilometers away - is well worth a look. To get there, you have to climb some 400 steps, taking care not to be teased, or worse, by the countless macaques that have invaded the area. Some can be aggressive (dominant males or mothers with young), so be careful with children. At the very top is the Thammikaram temple, with its mystical charm.

Belle vue sur la ville . Accès gratuit. Attention toutefois aux macaques qui se montrent très insistants et agressifs. Un panneau d'information en bas des escaliers prévient d'ailleurs les touristes.

Une ville authentique où nous aurions dû rester plus que 3 nuits ! Plage de rêve, vue paradisiaque, restaurants locaux délicieux et peu chers. Ce point de vue se voit de loin et est bien gardé par une foultitude de singes peu farouches. Faire attention et ne pas sortir de nourriture... !

Prachuap Khiri Kan ville encore préservé du tourisme de masse ,après avoir longé la superbe baie et traversé le marché de nuit en bordure de mer vous accédez aux marches pour grimper au temple et vus magnifique depuis le sommet...ATTENTION toutefois aux singes le long des marches parfois agressifs....
