WAT KHAO SUWAN PRADIT
This hilltop chedi in Surat thani was once the home of Luang Phu Choi, a famous monk in southern Thailand
It is the last residence of Luang Phu Choi, a very famous monk in the South of Thailand, who dedicated his life to the restoration of this place. The chedi at the top of the hill, after climbing many steps, houses relics of Buddha that were brought back from Chiang Mai. Inside you can also admire a mummy of a local monk. If you arrive at the right time, you will be able to hear the monks recite the prayers. The temple also offers a magnificent view of the bay and nearby islands.
