WAT SUAN MOKKHAPHALARAM (WAT SUANMOK)
This place dedicated to meditation in Chaiya, was the residence of the monk Ajahn Buddhadasa, currently offering meditation courses
This place dedicated to meditation - called "Garden of Deliverance" - was the residence of the monk Ajahn Buddhadasa, who marked his contemporaries by the development of a doctrine seeking the common principles between Buddhism, Taoism and Christianity. Meditation classes for Westerners are given on site during the first ten days of each month. A preliminary visit of the park and the buildings is not without interest.
