HIN TA & HIN YAI ROCKS
This site, with two suggestively shaped rocks curiously close to each other, is a spiritual place for the Thais
Where the huge granite blocks of a rocky promontory plunge into the sea, at the southern end of Lamai beach. It is about two rocks with suggestive forms, curiously close to each other: one representing a man's sex and the other a woman's sex: "Grandfather" and "Grandmother". It is a spiritual place for the Thai people. Being (also) animists, they believe that the spirits of a man and a woman inhabit this site. Locals regularly come to fish at this place and tourists come to have their picture taken.
