WAT PLAI LAEM
A complex in Big Buddha, with temples and statues representing Guanyin, Shiva, Vishnu, Ganesh...
Close to the Big Buddha, the colorful Wat Plai Laem complex is definitely worth a visit. The temples are located on a pond. The main attraction is the large statue of Guanyin, goddess of compassion and mercy, with its 18 arms. Also a Buddhist temple, a Chinese temple, an altar dedicated to Shiva, Vishnu and Ganesh, and a large Chinese-style statue of Buddha. There is a peaceful atmosphere. You can also make a donation to the temple, a monk will give you a blessing and some food to feed the fish.
