L'ATELIER DU MALT
This former workshop around the knife, like many productions of the Thiers basin at the time, has been transformed into a brewery. The name, L'Atelier du Malt, is a nod to the history of the place. Hugues Selvaggini and his team knew how to furnish the premises with care and even designed and built a large part of the brewing room themselves. Taste and quality of the beer are the key words of this workshop where ale-type lagers are produced, hot-fermented, for example. Thirst-quenching or full-bodied, the beer leaves a hint of lemon. It also produces white or amber beers. The production can be found in wine shops throughout the department, in Auvergne stores or on its online shop. The brewer is also present at various local events.
