Thale Noi is a 460 expanse of fresh water, where you can go on excursions to admire water lilies and migratory birds...

Thale Noi, which translates as "little sea", is a 460 km2 stretch of fresh water, one of the largest waterfowl reserves in the country. Hunting is forbidden. Thale Noi des bateliers offer excursions to admire the water lilies, and to observe migratory birds and water buffaloes. Chinese tiles are also scattered here and there. It's best to leave early in the morning to watch the sunrise. The best time to get there is from October to April.

MAGIQUE à ne pas rater
Si vous êtes dans la région, une excursion matinale sur le lac Thale Noi est à faire à tout prix. Il permet de découvrir la vie locale des pêcheurs et les paysages sont magnifiques (lac, nénuphars, forêts humides,.... avec de nombreux oiseaux et des buffles d'eau.

Thale Noi est un village de pêcheurs et d'artisans fabricant paniers et tapis à partir de joncs, au bord d'un immense lac, non loin de Phattalung. Un séjour de 2 jours permet de faire de bon matin une balade sur le lac au milieu des stations de pêche au carrelet, des nénuphars et des lotus ... magnifique !!
