A large Western-style mosque in Yala, distinguished by its modern architecture and lotus-shaped dome.
Thailand's largest mosque is worthy of attention because of its modern, Western-style architectural design. This three-storey building, completed in 1983, features a half-open lotus-shaped dome allowing light to enter. The minaret is 38 meters high. Very wide stairs of 30 steps lead to the entrance of the mosque. Around life is in full swing with numerous stalls selling various products.
