This small establishment frequented by regulars is in the middle of Wanhua. If, to the uninitiated, it seems to serve traditional Cantonese cuisine, in reality it is nothing at all. Gan Mei Alley serves a true fusion cuisine, influenced by Fujian recipes, Hakka gastronomy and Japanese cooking techniques. It's a Taiwanese style restaurant. On the plate, the specialities are undoubtedly the dimsums, prepared on a sheet of crispy rice, which gives a surprising contrast once in the mouth.
